Dan Pelino
Author of ‘Trusted Healers’ and advocate for PCMH and mental and behavioral health, Dan is an innovator, thought leader and author. He is co-founder of Everyone Matters, Inc., a social impact enterprise dedicated to ensuring that everyone has the right to dignity and respect, to be who they are without being shamed or demeaned, and to thrive within their own unique individually. Pelino is a regular contributor to the discussions on healthcare, citizen-based services and smarter cities having appeared on The Dr. Oz Show, CNN, Bloomberg, the BBC and other global media outlets. He has testified to Congress and presented to The White House and Presidential Commissions. He is a strong supporter and good friend of the PCPCC, Primary Care and the Patient Centered Medical Home. He is an adjunct professor at his alma mater Western Kentucky University lecturing on applied leadership. He is a frequent guest speaker at colleges and universities. He serves as an independent director to the Itron Board of Directors as well as a board member and advisor to other private and public companies. He is an active member of the National Association of Corporate Directors. Dan worked for IBM for 36 years concluding his career as IBM’s senior executive and General Manager IBM’s Global Healthcare, Life Sciences, Education, Government and Smarter Cities business. He and Anne live in Northern Virginia.
Bud Ramey
Bud Ramey, has written six books, including The Familiar Physician (2014) with Dr. Peter Anderson. Five of his titles have been about America’s culture. Bud, a 1971 graduate of Virginia Military Institute, has served in top healthcare public affairs roles for over forty years, winning more than two dozen international awards for excellence in communications and for his contributions to regional humanitarian and community efforts.
