Everyone Matters, Inc. is a social impact enterprise founded in 2017 dedicated to ensuring that everyone has equal access to citizen-based services, healthcare, and education. Within this context, all people have the right to dignity and respect, to be who they are without being shamed or demeaned, and to thrive within their own unique individuality.

Anne Altman

Co-founder

Anne is recognized for her leadership in the technology industry and the Public Sector for more than three decades. She served as IBM General Manager, US Federal and Government Industries from 2013-2016; IBM General Manager, Global Public Sector from 2010-2013; leading IBM’s Government, Health, LifeSciences, Smarter Cities and Education Businesses; and IBM General Manager, System z from 2008-2010; leading the server technology business though one of its most significant product launches in the history of the mainframe.

She is a recipient of the prestigious Eagle Award, one of the highest honors issued to technology partners serving the Federal Government. Anne has been recognized with a number of awards including: Federal Computer Week’s Top Federal 100, Washingtonian Magazine Top Tech Titans, Washington’s 100 Most Powerful Women, the AFFIRM Leadership Award for Industry, and the CIO Council’s Azimuth Award for the Industry Executive of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Heroines award from the March of Dimes and the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association, and Lifetime Achievement Award from the Institute for Sales Excellence.

Anne is a regular contributor to publications and media outlets, including The Washington Post, Associated Press, Federal Computer Week, Business Week, The New York Times, Washington Technology, Government Computer News, InformationWeek, and Fox Business, among others. Ms. Altman has also contributed to key government-related review boards for organizations, such as the National Academy of Public Administration, the National Science Academy, and the Private Sector Council.

Dan Pelino

Co-founder

Dan is an innovator, thought leader and author.  Dan is a regular contributor to the discussion on healthcare, citizen based services and Smarter Cities having appeared on CNN, Bloomberg, the BBC and other media outlets. He serves as a moderator and host to the current healthcare debate and is an adjunct professor lecturing on Leadership at his alma mater Western Kentucky University. Dan also guest lectures at other colleges and universities. He serves on numerous private and public boards. He worked for IBM for 36 years leading its global Healthcare and Life Sciences Business for 10 years. He concluded his career with IBM as the General Manager of the global Government, Healthcare, Education, and Life Sciences Business.

Additionally, on behalf of IBM, Dan and Dr. Paul Grundy, IBM’s Director of Healthcare Transformation, accepted the 2012 National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) award for Leadership in Healthcare.

Now Co-founder with Anne Altman of Everyone Matters, Inc., Dan has served  on the Executive Committee for the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC) and on the Board of Directors of the Healthcare Executive Network. IBM selected him as a member of the corporation’s Performance Team, Integration and Values Team, and Global Leadership Team. His many honors include being an inaugural member of the IBM Industry Academy.
